Education is one of the most important issues in America today. We are faced with it everyday and the youth of America, as
well as the future of America, will be greatly affected if the quality of America's educational system is anything less than
suburb. Many candidates claim that they "support" education, but who doesn't? And with an issue as important as
education, you can't be just supportive, you have top be absolutely committed to it. Elijah Bradford is committed to the education
of America's youth, and he has the ideas and policies to improve America's educational system to have the quality it needs,
while giving every single American child the chance to succeed. First, Bradford plans to reform the No Child Left Behind Act
by removing much of the unnecessary and obtrusive standardized tests that work against teachers and frustrate students. While
it is important that students do well on tests, having so much testing, and forcing teachers to have tests become standardized
works against the education of children and adolescents across America. With funds that will become available due to other
programs that Elijah Bradford will initialize, which will vastly increase the efficiency of every American tax dollar spent,
in addition to funds that normally would have been spent on supporting standardized testing, Bradford will begin programs
to give federal aid to states who will mandate the raising of the salaries of educators in all public schools. Teachers and
educators and the people who deal with the students of America day in and day out and they know infinitely more about America's
children than some bureaucrat in Washington D.C., because they don't know anything about America's
students. Elijah Bradford realizes this and with the raise in salaries, along with reduced standardized testing, teachers
will be have the freedom to teach what students need to learn and be rewarded for it. In addition, more Americans will be
enticed to entering the field of education. By following this plan, Elijah Bradford will improve the education of all young
Americans, and secure America's future of prosperity.
